#1- Amatuku
This is a small island of Funafuti, Tuvalu on which the Tuvalu Maritime Training Institute is situated. Entry to Amatuku is from Tengako, which is the promontory at the north tip of Fongafale islet.

#2- Lakena
It  is a tiny island of Nanumea atoll, Tuvalu. Nanumean conventions narrate Lakena as being established when sand overflowed from the baskets of two women, Pai and Vau, when they were pushed off Nanumea by Tefolaha, the Tongan fighter who became the predecessor of the people of Nanumea.

#3- Savave
It is a tiny island of Nukufetau, Tuvalu, which is on the lagoon side of Fale island. It has also a little village named the same on the island.

#4- Tepuka Vili vili
Tepuka Vili Vili or Tepuka Savilivili is an island of Funafuti, Tuvalu. Tepuka Vili Vili is a portion of the Funafuti Conservation Area, founded in 1996 with the intention of conserving the natural plants and animals of the region.

This  is an islet eighteen kilometers west of Fongafale, in the northwest of Funafuti, the chief atoll of Tuvalu. The name Tepuka derived from a tree named Te puka, or Pouka- Hernandia peltata.

#6- Niutao
A reef islet Niutao is in the northern portion of Tuvalu. It is one of the nine territories of Tuvalu. It is also one of the three territories that contain just a single island – not including the three islets inside the closed lagoon. Niutao has a community of 606 people.

#7- Nanumanga
Nanumaga is a reef islet and an area of the Oceanian island nation of Tuvalu. It has a region of nearly 3 square km with a community of 481 people.

#8- Niulakita
Located in the southernmost tip of Tuvalu, Niulakita is also the name of the sole village on this island. Niulakita has a community of 27 people. The inhabitants of Niulakita have transferred to the island from Niutao. Niulakita is described in the Parliament of Tuvalu by the representatives of the constituency of Niutao.

#9- Fale Fatu
It is a small island of Funafuti, Tuvalu. Te Ava Pua Pua is the alley through the reef, with a minimum depth of 12.7 meters, between the islets of Funamanu to the north and Fale Fatu to the south, in the southeast of Funafuti islands.

#10- Vaiaku
A village situated on the southern shore of the island of Fongafale, Vaiaku is in the atoll of Funafuti in Tuvalu. There is 516 residences in Vaiaku, according to the survey of 2002, out of 4,492 for the total atoll of Funafuti, which is the formal epicenter of Tuvalu. All the governmental edifices, incorporating the National Bank of Tuvalu, and the sole hotel of Tuvalu, Vaiaku Langi Hotel, are situated in Vaiaku. It also contains Teone Church, which is the sole church of the Latin Catholic Mission Sui Iuris of Funafuti.

#11- Nui
It is one of the most significant islands in Tuvalu. The eternal settlement is on the principal islet of Fenuatapu in Nui. Nui Island is comprised of 11 primary islets. All the islets are divided by passages. The sea surges through the passages from the ocean to the lagoon. During low tide, people can stroll across these passages from islet to islet. A 200 meters broad coral reef connects the islets. The largest opening in it is about 2 kilometers long. It extends from Tabontebike to Tehikiai and lies to the west of the island. The spot has plenty of trees. These incorporate coconuts, breadfruit and pandanus, and food harvests like babai, tauroro and bero are produced aplenty. The encompassing waters of the lagoon, reef, and ocean offer the people an adequate supply of newly caught fish. So fishing which is the key ingredient in the native diet also happens to be the main occupation in this place.

#12- Vaitupu
It is a significant Island in Tuvalu. Vaitupu is constructed up of plenty of tiny islands. It consists of an extended reef platform, a big central island and a number of tinier islets. The exterior reef is fringed by an enormous region of coral pavement. This can be up to 700 meters broad on the eastern side and about 200 meters broad on the western side. The epicenter of Vaitupu is Asau. The island has the second-biggest population in Tuvalu. According to the 2002 survey the number stood at 1,591. The island has the country’s sole secondary school, Motufoua. Learners from all over the islands are sent in this place to develop their education.

#13- Nanumea
It is the biggest island in Tuvalu. Nanumea is located in the northernmost tip of Tuvalu and covers nearly around 4.6 kilometers of the region. It is about 600 meters wide.  The little island of Nanumea has played an important role in the Second World War. It was actually the bomber base of the federal forces for protecting the Pacific. Nanumea was the closest island to the Japanese bases in Kiribati. During the Second World War, the Americans asked the inhabitants to vacate their lands so that they could be assigned elsewhere on the island.

#18- Vaiaku Stadium
The Vaiaku stadium also familiar as Tuvalu Sports Ground is a stadium in Funafuti used for different occasions. It is now utilized for football and rugby matches. The stadium has the capacity of 1,500 people.  The stadium is established on a coral surface with river sediment being carried in from Fiji to form a base on which grass will develop.

#19- Fongafale
