But trust us when we say this this is an activity that you should be considering from the beginning or if possible, months ahead of time. Let’s say you were on a trip to a hill station and all you carried were some summery clothes, it would mark the end of your enjoyment before you even reached your destination. Similarly, when you are going to Thailand, there are some essentials that you must carry with you. Even if Nitsa Holidays cannot pack your bags for you, we can assist and guide you regarding some must-carry items that you should have for your trip to ensure that you are prepared at all times and that you have everything to make the most out of your days in Thailand.

Let’s see a list of the items that you must have on your next trip:

Passport- When you are traveling to an international destination, one of the most important things apart from your body and your flight tickets is your passport. You can be denied entry to multiple places, even if you have your passport until you land at Thailand airport. Your passport marks your identity and you should ensure that you carry this identification proof and a copy of it at all times.

Mobile Phone and Charger- It would be pretty much impossible to imagine life in today’s world without a mobile phone and it certainly becomes an even harder task when you are left in a country unknown to you and you do not have a smartphone that can help you navigate your way or stay in touch with the rest of the world, do make sure that you carry your mobile and it’s charger at all times.

Cash and Cards- There would be absolutely no point in traveling to a destination without money or means of receiving money. Do ensure that when you go to Thailand you have sufficient cash or an international card that has enough balance to help you spend a comfortable and enjoyable trip. If possible, carry some cash even if you are carrying cards because a lot of street vendors only accept cash.

Medical Kit- You must carry some emergency medical supplies with you when you are coming to Thailand. These can include bandages ibuprofen or any regular medication that you take.

Sun Protectants- Thailand is a tropical country that remains hot and humid throughout the year. Even if you are going on an island tour, walking on the streets, or exploring the beautiful landmarks, you should always ensure that you have a few items that can save you from the bright glowing sun of Thailand. We advise that you carry sunscreen, sunglasses, and hats at all times when in Thailand.

Travel Adapters- Another important item to carry when you are traveling internationally is the travel adapter. You never know how the charging points or the plug points in your hotels are going to be so to avoid any issues, you should be prepared and always keep a travel adapter handy.

Raincoat- Thailand is a tropical country that experiences rainfall at least eight months out of the twelve months in the year. You never know when a sunny bright day can turn into a quick rain shower.  To avoid the rain from interrupting your trip to Thailand, you must carry a raincoat with you.

Mosquito Repellent- Thailand has a lot of greenery and with that comes a lot of mosquitoes. To be prepared at all times, make sure you carry some mosquito repellent sprays or creams with you, and don’t let these little sneaky creatures get in your way of fun.

Hand Sanitisers- In the post-Covid world. Anybody traveling without hand sanitizers is probably a fool. So to avoid this title we do recommend you keep hand sanitiser with you at all times.

Aloe vera gel- Of course, you are going to try your best to avoid sun tan and sun but the heat and sunlight in Thailand is so treacherous that it is impossible to avoid it completely. There is going to be some tanning at some point so, prepare yourself ahead of time and carry some cooling aloe vera gel that you can apply on your face and body at all times to avoid any irritations or itchiness.

Ready-to-eat food items- If you are from India and you are a little hesitant to try the exotic cuisine of Thailand which is way different from what you are typically used to, you can carry some ready-to-eat food products from India itself, so hunger doesn’t stop you from having the best time of your life.

Flip Flops and Shoes- Your trip to Thailand will include a lot of walking, so be prepared. Avoid bringing uncomfortable stilettos and heels, and instead pack some comfortable and breathable, flip-flops and shoes that will help you navigate your way through the crowded, but adventurous streets of Thailand.

Clothes- Since Thailand is an extremely hot country, you must avoid bringing warm and heavy clothes and instead choose some light, airy, and summery clothes that will let you travel and enjoy with ease.

Modest Clothes- If you want to explore the culture of Thailand, you must definitely visit one of the temples or the palaces. These magical places will show you the real beauty of Thailand. However, wearing short clothes or decent clothes is strictly prohibited. So make sure you pack a pair of modest clothing and go about exploring the temples uninterrupted.

Swimwear- No Thailand trip can be completed without engaging with its waters. Be it the pool at your hotel or the crystal clear waters on the beach, you are definitely going to take a dip to escape the hot environment of Thailand. For this reason, you must pack a couple of swimwear, and the amazing pictures that you can click can’t hurt anybody!

Waterproof Bags- There is a lot of water engagement in Thailand. Be it with the ocean or the sea or the unexpected rainfall, there is going to be some point or the other where you will get in touch with Water.  To keep your cash, cards, mobile phones, and other accessories safe, we recommend you carry some waterproof bags with you.

Waterproof Mobile Covers- You must have seen videos of people and fish being captured underwater. If you also wish to come back with such images and videos, we recommend you carry a waterproof mobile cover or bag that you can carry when you take a dip into the beautiful waters of Thailand without the fear of damaging your device.
