We were on a day trip to Thattekad Bird Sanctuary and Bhoothathankettu. First we went to Thattekad. It is around 60 km away from Ernakulam after Kothamangalam. A perfect place for the people those who love nature, birds, butterflies, flowers, etc. WE can see many varieties of birds including migrating birds here.They are keeping many types of fishes in fish tanks and some snakes too in cages including king cobra and python. We can see many verity of butterflies in the butterfly park whole the year. The museum is very helpful to know about many birds in detail. From there we went for a boating up to the Inchathotty hanging bridge. This is saying the longest hanging bridge in Kerala. That boating is a very enjoyable one as the seen on both sides are an unforgettable like calendar photos. The hanging bridge is also is a beautiful one.
